Train Transition
A locked-off carriage window: countryside, then a blackout tunnel, then another century entirely. The tunnel is the cut, and there is no cut.
A single continuous 10-second shot from a fixed passenger point of view inside a train, as if we are standing among the passengers looking out through a large side window at a wide, natural angle. The camera is completely static and locked off — zero camera movement, no pans, no tilts, no shakes, no angle changes. The only movement in the entire shot happens outside the train window. No reflections are visible on the glass — the window is perfectly clear, showing only the outside world.
Inside the cabin: a natural mix of passengers gathered at the window, some seated, some standing in different positions — including a child in a red hoodie leaning against the glass with hands on the sill, women, and men of varied appearances in casual clothing (beanies, glasses, jackets). They lean in and gaze outside, calm and still, absorbed in the view.
0 to 1.5s: The train travels past flat modern countryside — open green fields under an overcast sky — at normal speed, exactly like an ordinary train ride. The passengers watch calmly.
1.5s to 3.5s: Instant hyper-acceleration. The outside world turns into blinding high-speed optical motion blur, extreme shutter smearing. The cabin and camera stay perfectly still — all motion is confined to the world beyond the glass.
3.5s to 4.8s: Over these 1.3 seconds the train enters and fully passes through a pitch-black tunnel. The outside window goes completely dark — total blackout, screen fully dies out. This blackout is the complete transition; the modern world ends here.
4.8s to 10s: The train emerges from the tunnel into a completely different world — [Maya civilization] — remaining locked in this era for the rest of the shot. As it's revealed, a wave of genuine excitement and shock ripples through the passengers: the child in the red hoodie leans in closer with wide eyes and covers their mouth, others gasp, lean forward, exchange amazed glances, and point at the view — natural, spontaneous awe at the impossible sight outside.
Strictly one unbroken continuous take. The static locked-off camera never moves; only the world outside the window changes. The window glass stays completely clear with zero reflections. The passengers inside stay consistent throughout, reacting only at the reveal. The blackout tunnel is the transition mask between the two worlds — the modern world exists only before it, Ancient Egypt only after it. Realistic speed physics, zero cuts, zero futuristic neon overlays, 8k resolution, 60fps.[Maya civilization]
- The destination era is named twice and the two disagree: the swappable slot says Maya civilization, but the closing paragraph hardcodes "Ancient Egypt only after it". Change both to the same era before generating, or the model gets contradictory instructions about what comes out of the tunnel.
